DONNA MCNAMARA, M.D.
Co-Chief
Donna McNamara, M.D. specializes in treating women with gynecological malignancies, particularly ovarian cancer. Dr. McNama ra has been a member of the division since its 2005 inception and brings considerable expertise in the clinical care of patients with gynecologic malignancies.
Prior to joining Hackensack University Medical Center, Dr. McNamara completed the Hematology-Oncology program at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia and the Internal Medicine Residency program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame, IN and completed her medical education at Loyola University of Chicago, IL. Dr. McNamara is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. Dr. McNamara has an established background in research and has been published in national cancer treatment journals. She maintains professional affiliations with the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Gynecologic Oncology Group, the American Society of Hematology, the American Medical Association (AMA), and is an associate with the American College of Physicians – American Society of Internal Medicine (ACP-ASIM). BABAK LITKOUHI, M.D.

Dr. Litkouhi joined the John Theurer Cancer Center from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where he served as an attending in the gynecological oncology division and faculty at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Litkouhi received his medical degree at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. After training in obstetrics and gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital, he completed his fellowship in gynecological oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
His research on various topics in cancer medicine has been published in journals such as Gynecologic Oncology, Neoplasia, and Cryobiology, and presented at regional and national medical meetings. He is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. Read Full Bio

LOREN GODFREY, M.D.Radiaton Oncologist, Gynecologic Oncology
Loren Godfrey, M.D., specializes in the treatment of gynecologic cancers and breast cancer. He is skilled in the use of brachytherapy, in which implanted seeds or thin catheters are used to deliver radiation therapy directly into tumors. His clinical skills include intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)/image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) to treat gynecologic and head and neck cancers; both low-dose-rate and high-dose-rate gynecologic brachytherapy; and accelerated partial breast irradiation with the Mammosite brachytherapy system. He is also experienced in interstitial brachytherapy for prostate cancer, endobronchial brachytherapy for lung cancer, intracranial brachytherapy for malignant brain tumors, intraoperative radiotherapy for abdomiopelvic cancers, and radioisotope therapies for bone metastases.
