Cancer is hard enough. That’s why every year the John Theurer Cancer Center celebrates Life and Liberty at Liberty State Park with all our patients and their loved ones. We recognize that just like the 12 million immigrants who passed through Ellis Island, another 12 million face an equally long and hard journey – cancer.
This extraordinary event has grown every year. More than 2,200 patients and caregivers attended this year's event - our largest celebration ever! This special event featured interactive workshops, singing, dancing, live music and inspirational performances by John Theurer Cancer Center survivors.
