The da Vinci System is used by surgeons worldwide for prostatectomy and other urologic procedures. It’s a minimally invasive approach that uses the latest in surgical and robotics technologies and is beneficial for performing complex surgery. The da Vinci is a state-of-the-art surgical system that features a magnified 3D high-definition vision system and special wristed instruments designed to take surgery beyond the limits of the human hand. The surgeon operating the da Vinci is 100% in control of the system, which translates his or her hand movements into smaller, more precise movements of tiny instruments inside your body.

JTCC was the first hospital in New Jersey to celebrate 10 years of using the da Vinci in 2010.

Visit here for additional information on da Vinci.
