Thank You From Dr. Goy

For many of you who frequently visit us here at the hospital, you may have noticed that the Cancer Center has been overflowing with an abundance of plants!  We haven't transformed ourselves into a nursery, but I did want to provide some context for all the plants!  Not one day goes by without our talented staff working to provide extraordinary care for our patients here at the John Theurer Cancer Center, indeed, many of you know that every nurse, researcher, laboratory professional, psychosocial expert, nutritionist, medical assistant, pharmacist, patient navigator, and administrative assistant plays a pivotal role as a part of a team that is focused on our patients.

In honor of National Nurses Week, Lab Professionals Day and Administrative Professionals Day we wanted to recognize each staff member with a plant symbolizing health and life and growth.  These three elements also reflect the hard work, kindness, and compassion our staff provides every day.  Please join me in thanking each member of the John Theurer Cancer Center staff for helping us provide the best care for our patients and for helping make this one of the best cancer facilities in the nation.
